I was intrigued by the second of three documentaries Earth: The Climate Wars featuring Dr Iain Stewart discussing the global warming debate. I managed to catch some of the first programme on Sunday afternoon and was hooked on the subject and had to see the second episode at 9pm.
Having previously seen Channel 4’s documentary “The Great Global Warming Swindle” from 2007, which is very much in favour of the climate change sceptics, i was very interested to see which way the BBC were going to go with this mini-series.

This week i have been mostly excited by the anticipated release of the latest installment in the Guitar Hero series – World Tour.
The song list has now been released and there are some amazing tracks set to be included, the ones i’m extremely looking forward to playing are:
Are you gonna go my way – Lenny Kravitz
Assassin – Muse
BYOB – System of a Down
Dammit – Blink 182
Everlong – Foo Fighters
In the End – Linkin Park
Parabola – Tool
Purple Haze – Jimi Hendrix
Schism – Tool
This new version is set to follow the trend set by the Rock Band video game and include a full set of instruments in the game including a Microphone and drum kit.
The other great new addition to the game is the create a song feature, although the only thing it is lacking is the ability to include your own vocals.
With downloads for the game set to include the eagerly anticipated album from Metallica i can see this game being a massive hit for rock fans everywhere. There are versions set for the Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
I certainly can’t wait for the release date November 7th when it finally arrives in the UK!

My life has just been improved today by the arrival of my new hat from Cambridge Embroidery.
They do a large range of their own logos on embroidered clothing from Hats to Hoodies. A friend of mine ordered a hoodie with a Volkswagen Beetle logo and the quality was so good i had to have one for myself!

Last night i took my first trip to the cinema in over 3 years. I went with a group of friends to watch Hancock
the new Will Smith movie. I took advantage of Orange Wednesday, two tickets for £6.70 and also free parking at the Vue cinema in Northampton.
The reviews before hand said “The first part of the film was good, but the second part didn’t fair too well”, these people need to be sacked!
From the trailers it looked like a typical Will Smith action film with comedy, It is that and so much more! The action scenes make good use of special effects and the comedy between Will Smith and the rest of the cast including Jason Bateman is just brilliant.
I’d definately ignore the critics on this one, i’m planning to go back this weekend. Even paying full price Hancock is worth seeing twice!
